The New York Times has put together a great interactive page for the anniversary of Katrina (Ten Years After Katrina), and many other news organizations have also posted "then and now" features, including CNN and Time.
Florida State University will soon be announcing its creation of an Emmett Till Archive and it was recently announced that Whoopi Goldberg will be producing a documentary about the teenager whose murder was a motivating factor in the Civil Rights Movement of the 1950s and 60s.
