Six of Crows wins the 2018 Lincoln Book Award
Though Six of Crows won easily in the state contest, the next three books were separated from each other by only one vote! An Ember in the Ashes came in 2nd place with 117 total votes, followed VERY closely by All-American Boys with 116 votes and To All the Boys I've Loved Before with 115 votes.
We'll be holding our Pizza, Prizes, and Previews wrap-up event right after school on Tuesday, April 24th in East Library. We'll talk about next year's nominees while enjoying some pizza and raffle off some prizes -- including those two free Cubs tickets! Hope to see you there!
PS: In case you're curious, here's how the vote at ETHS shook out.
(That's Six of Crows with the biggest percentage, edging out The Serpent King, and then one vote each for These Shallow Graves, The Wrath and the Dawn, Zeroboxer, An Ember in the Ashes, Highly Illogical Behavior, Nimona, The Rest of Us Just Live Here, and Salt to the Sea.)
