Colin is a former child prodigy getting over a breakup who is realizing, following his high school graduation, that even though he may be brilliant in certain ways, he may never become a true genius. This doesn't stop him, though, from trying to create a mathematical formula that will predict the length of any romantic relationship -- as well as which person will be the one to end it -- using his nineteen relationships with girls named Katherine as the basis.
